From OMNI-Risk to cyber risk – don’t miss Moonstone’s compliance webinar

Financial services providers must navigate shifting compliance obligations as regulation and supervision constantly evolve. There’s no better way to get your bearings right than by attending Moonstone Compliance’s popular Regulatory Update Webinar.

Registration is open for this year’s webinar, which will take place from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, 12 November. Please click here to register.

As always, the webinar will be packed with relevant information presented in an easily understandable way by experts in their fields.

The presenters will be Billy Seyffert, Moonstone Compliance’s chief operating officer; Marili Orffer, who leads the Legal and Regulatory Support Team; and Justin Westcott, the chief technology officer of leading cybersecurity provider DataGr8.

Billy will review the regulatory developments since last year’s webinar, and their implications. He will then discuss the future of reporting obligations, including the OMNI-Risk Return that FSPs will have to submit.

As the much-anticipated enactment of the Conduct of Financial Institutions Bill approaches, many FSPs are experiencing a sense of uncertainty about what the future holds. Billy will revisit the COFI Bill and explore its significant implications. He will round off the first session of the webinar by discussing possible upcoming regulatory changes.

After a short break, Marili discuss recent developments on the FICA front, including the Business Risk Assessments and the responsibilities of management teams with regards to the FICA compliance frameworks.

In the final session, Justin will discuss cyber security and resilience, providing practical guidance on how to implement best practices in your FSP to manage cyber risks effectively and ensure compliance.

The webinar will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

Key individuals, representatives, compliance officers, and internal legal officers will derive great value by attending the Regulatory Update Webinar. People responsible for operations management, general risk management and marketing will also benefit from attending.
